A Rochester area startup is looking for a Full-stack Software Developer with 5+ years of software development experience. The company has developed a patent-pending IoT product with a cloud based AI backend supported by deep learning neural networks. The desired background for this role includes:

Required

  • Experience with frontend developing including JavaScript, CSS, React
  • Experience with backend development including PHP, Python, Java, PostgreSQL)

Desirable

  • DevOps experience (Ansible, Terraform, and/or Jenkins)

This is an early stage startup with huge upside potential. The developer will receive ground floor stocks instead of cash compensation, and will be expected to work about 10 hours every week for a few months until the company gets past the pre-funded stage. Once funded, they will be provide an annual salary. The company has conducted extensive market validation, received strong interest from target customer base, and is currently engaged with several investors for the first round of funding. Interested parties, after signing a non disclosure agreement, will receive information about the product.

A Rochester area startup is looking for a CTO/technical co-founder with 5+ years of embedded software development experience. The company has developed a patent-pending IoT product with a cloud based AI backend supported by deep learning neural networks. The desired background for this role includes:

Required

  • Experience developing firmware on MCU, DSP and microprocessors with sensors integration
  • Extensive app development experience on Raspberry Pi
  • Experience with C, Java, Python and Qt based UI development.
  • Experience with designing custom PCB

Desirable

  • Experience with FPGA development, especially by using OpenCL and NVDLA framework
  • Experience with electro-mechanical packaging, 3D printing and CAD design.
  • Experience developing software on ESP32/ESP8266
