SalesForce.com Administrator (Hiring freeze in place currently...)

SalesForce.Com administrator:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in automating Sales and Marketing processes.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining databases including SF.com and MS SQL Server databases.

  • Minimum 3 years experience designing and implementing various types of web-based applications.

  • Hands-on experience with the following aspects of Salesforce.com:

    • Custom fields

    • Custom page layouts

    • Validation rules

    • Workflow rules

    • Campaigns

    • Reports

    • Dashboards

    • Data import/export

  • Prefer hands-on experience utilizing the following aspects of Salesforce.com:

    • Custom objects

    • Office edition, especially Excel to create and update reports

    • API connectivity

  • Other required skills

    • Ability to gather business requirements and recommend technology solutions using SaleForce and other tools.

    • Ability to determine and communicate when a request may not be in the best interest of the organization, and be able to suggest alternative solutions.

    • Database management, especially the ability to extract data from the SalesForce database to external databases

    • Strong understanding of sales automation, including inside and field sales and their interface with marketing

    • Strong understanding of marketing process and leveraging the data

    • Ability to manage several projects at once, many of which are considered to be high priority

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidate must be in the Rochester area.  1-2 days of telecommute per week possible.
